Dr. Jennifer Hensley is a Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with over 24 years of experience serving children with autism and special needs. Throughout her extensive career, she has led innovative research on autism care for military families, served as faculty at the Uniformed Services University, and contributed as a chapter author to pediatric publications. Dr. Hensley is widely recognized for her compassion, collaborative approach, and steadfast commitment to supporting families as they navigate the unique challenges of autism. At the heart of Dr. Hensley’s work is her faith in Jesus, which directs her path and inspires her every day. She believes her calling to care for children and families is a reflection of her faith, and she strives to serve others with humility, kindness, and integrity. Trusting in God’s guidance, Dr. Hensley approaches her practice with a heart for service, offering hope, clarity, and support to those in need. Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Hensley is a proud mom of three and comes from a military family. She is deeply committed to faith, family, and service, and seeks to honor these values in every aspect of her life.
