The Beautiful Difference

People with autism have beautiful minds! They know the physics of the wheel on the bike. They know the acceleration, deceleration, velocity, metal, and rubber, but they often overlook the fact that the wheel is attached to a frame, seat, handlebars, and another wheel. But once they are taught about these other components, they can get on the bike and go for a ride. There are well-known scientists, entrepreneurs, athletes, and leaders with autism, just like your child, and I do not want any limitations placed on your child, just like you do not. Once they learn to ride, no one can ever take that away from them.

Here is another secret: People with autism spectrum disorder do things differently from the average person, but it is a “beautiful difference.” They see the world through a different but beautiful lens. They walk a different path and often venture into uncharted territory, paving new paths.
